We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key clients in the Media & Entertainment industry, with a particular focus on streaming platforms. Your deep understanding of the industry, combined with your expertise in account management, will contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management: Develop and nurture strong relationships with key clients in the Media & Entertainment industry, specifically within the streaming sector. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and act as their trusted advisor.
  • Account Growth: Drive revenue growth by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts. Develop strategic account plans and execute them effectively to achieve revenue targets.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and industry developments in the Media & Entertainment sector, particularly in streaming. Leverage this knowledge to provide insights and recommendations to clients, helping them stay ahead of the competition.
  • Client Success: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure client success. Advocate for client’s needs and work closely with internal teams to deliver on commitments and exceed expectations.
  • Renewals and Contract Negotiation: Manage the contract renewal process for assigned accounts. Negotiate terms and conditions to maximize client satisfaction and company profitability.
  • Client Satisfaction: Proactively monitor client satisfaction levels and take necessary actions to address any concerns or issues. Strive to achieve high levels of client satisfaction and build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Industry Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with key stakeholders and promote our organization. Represent the company as a knowledgeable and reputable expert in the Media & Entertainment industry.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track and analyze key metrics related to client accounts, including revenue, usage, and customer satisfaction. Prepare regular reports for management, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic account management, preferably within the Media & Entertainment industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing large client accounts, preferably with a focus on streaming platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Streaming ecosystem, content licensing, and distribution models.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to identify revenue opportunities within client accounts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to drive favorable outcomes for both clients and the company.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree. An advanced degree or industry certifications are a plus.
