Reelgood Streaming Top 10: Streaming leader not that Strange

Here’s your Reelgood Streaming Top 10 (movies & TV) snapshot for Dec 25 to Dec 31:

As Stranger Things comes to the finish line (with the last episodes dropping on Christmas and New Year’s Eve), it’s no surprise it replaces Pluribus in the #1 spot.  And with many people off last week and looking for something to watch, two movies grabbed the next two spots this holiday week.

  • Netflix takes the #1 spot with its last two batches of Stranger Things episodes, while its latest Knives Out Mystery, and the new season of Emily in Paris hold on at the back end of the top ten.
  • Peacock returns to the list with the dark comedy/sci-fi Bugonia debuting at #2.
  • HBO Max’s One Battle After Another and hockey series Heated Rivalry maintain strong positions on the list at #3 and #6, respectively.
  • Apple TV’s Pluribus stays strong at #4, with its finale still generating audience interest.
  • Prime Video maintains its position with Fallout still at #5.
  • Paramount+‘s Landman keeps its momentum at #7.
  • Hulu‘s returns to the list by going to a Stephen King novella, with its fantasy-drama film The Life Of Chuck debuting at #9.
