Reelgood Streaming Top 10: Half the Chart Turns Over: Send Help Takes #1, Netflix Crowds the Bottom

Here’s your Reelgood Streaming Top 10 (movies & TV) snapshot for May 14 to May 20:

Send Help moves up one spot to #1 on Hulu, taking the position vacated by last week’s leader, Netflix’s Swapped, which falls off the chart entirely. Half of this week’s chart is new. Five debuts. Five carry-overs. One title, Widow’s Bay, has now held the same position for three consecutive weeks.

The clearest pattern in the data is on Netflix. The service places four titles on this week’s Top 10, more than any other streamer, yet lands none of them above #5. Remarkably Bright Creatures sits at #5. The other three are new this week: GOAT at #8, The Roast of Kevin Hart at #9, and The Crash at #10. Netflix has more volume on the chart than any other platform and no presence in the top four.

The top of the chart is split across four services. Hulu’s Send Help at #1, Prime Video’s Off Campus at #2, Paramount+’s Dutton Ranch at #3, and Apple TV’s Widow’s Bay at #4. Six services share this week’s ten titles in total.

This past week’s highlights:

  • Netflix’s volume-versus-position split: Four titles on the chart, none higher than #5. Three of the four debut this week: GOAT (#8), The Roast of Kevin Hart (#9), and The Crash (#10). Remarkably Bright Creatures is the lone carry-over, climbing from #7 last week to #5. While the platform leads the chart in title count, it’s shut out of the top four positions.
  • Half the chart turns over: Five titles debut this week and five carry over. Among the exits is last week’s #1, Netflix’s Swapped, which falls off the Top 10 entirely. The carry-overs are Send Help, Widow’s Bay, The Boys, Euphoria, and Remarkably Bright Creatures.
  • Send Help (Hulu): Moves up one spot to #1 after holding at #2 last week. Hulu’s only title on this week’s chart.
  • Widow’s Bay (Apple TV): Holds at #4 for a third straight week, as the only top-five title with that kind of multi-week tenure. Apple TV’s weekly episode cadence, which began with the April 29 premiere, is producing steady placement instead of a launch-week spike.
  • Prime Video’s pairing of a debut and a returning franchise: Off Campus debuts at #2, the platform’s highest-ranked title this week. The Boys carries over at #6, down one spot from #5 last week. Two titles in two different roles: a new entry near the top and an established series mid-chart.
