REELGOOD ANNOUNCES PHASE 2 OF ITS COMMERCIAL STREAMING GUIDE LICENSING PROGRAM WITH THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF SEVEN NEW COUNTRIES

Reelgood for Business, the data licensing arm of the best all-in-one streaming TV guide of the award winning Reelgood consumer application, is expanding its licensing program into Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Spain, Italy, & Germany and enhancing its level of global support

San Francisco, Tuesday, September 6th, 2022. Reelgood, the all-in-one streaming guide, announces expanded global support for its key commercial products that ranges from its Catalog Insights Dashboard, to the recently rebranded full data export aptly named the Reelgood Firehose. Both products support a range of customers looking to analyze and better understand the streaming landscape, to product developers creating next generation Search Engines and Pay TV services.

As the TV industry has migrated from the broadcast bundle to a-la-carte streaming at breakneck speed, customers struggle with managing multiple interfaces to access content as everyone from TV manufacturers, search engines, and publishers, even 5G mobile carriers, struggle to help customers find what to watch on their platforms.

Reelgood’s international streaming data includes localized metadata and imagery, along with streaming availability and deeplinks across a host of new international channels such as Crave and Hayu in Canada, FoxTel Now and BriBox AU for Australia, and Mubi for New Zealand, as well as leading global streaming providers such as Netflix, Disney and HBO Max.

“We are so excited to expand our TV & Movie streaming availability metadata to new regions of the globe. Ultimately Reelgood plans to cover all streaming markets in the world, but we will move country by country to ensure we have the same breadth of coverage and quality of data that we offer currently in the United States.”, says Tim Cutting, GM of Commercial.

“It is that quality of data, speed of delivery, and breadth of coverage that separates Reelgood from other data providers in the market.”

Several executives have recently left their positions at Fortune 500 companies and joined Reelgood to support this second phase in the company’s path towards becoming the #1 provider of global streaming guide metadata. Shuchi Mathur, joined Reelgood recently to spearhead the Customer Success strategy after spending the past 8 years at Nielsen.

Reelgood is heavily invested in technology and uses Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning to keep its data, accurate, and current in its real-time systems. APIs are hosted in the cloud with the level of  uptime one expects from a next generation enterprise SaaS services. Reelgood will provide these tools and services globally, 24/7, to its international clients. “Our customers run global services which never stop, and they need vendors like Reelgood that can provide reliable products and uptime to match these services” said Shuchi Mathur, VP of Customer Experience.

These new global territories and services will go online beginning in Q4 2022.
