Reelgood Streaming Top 10: Monster Debuts at #1 as Neagley Opens Above Reacher

Here’s your Reelgood Streaming Top 10 (movies & TV) snapshot for September 17-23, 2026:

Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story debuts at #1 on Netflix, ending Mayday‘s two-week run at the top on Apple TV. The fourth season of Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s true-crime anthology released all eight episodes on September 17, the first day of this week’s window. Mayday falls to #7.

Monster is one of five new entries, and all five started streaming within a six-day span from September 16 to September 21. Six titles from last week’s chart dropped off: The Gentlemen, Supergirl, Ted Lasso, Why Did I Get Married Again?, Silo, and Lioness. Only two were series whose seasons have wrapped: Silo, three weeks past its September 4 finale, and Lioness.

Six services placed a title this week, up from five. Prime Video, HBO Max, Paramount+, and Apple TV each hold two spots, while Netflix (at #1) and Peacock have one each.

This past week’s highlights:

  • The Reacher universe doubles up on Prime Video: Neagley enters at #2, four spots above its parent series. All eight episodes of the Maria Sten spinoff arrived September 16, the same day Reacher aired its fourth-season finale. Reacher slips from #5 to #6, its sixth straight week on the chart since season four premiered on Prime Video August 12.
  • The September 16 premieres needed a full week: Neagley and Slow Horses both premiered on the final day of last week’s window, and neither charted with a single day of eligibility. With a full week behind it, Slow Horses enters at #8 on Apple TV, where its sixth season releases one episode weekly through October 21.
  • Apple TV swaps one weekly series for another: Ted Lasso drops off the chart after six straight weeks, even though its eighth episode arrived during this week’s window and two more remain before an October 7 finale. Slow Horses takes its place as Apple TV‘s second title, alongside Mayday.
  • Paramount+ pairs a series return with a streaming debut: MobLand enters at #5 after its second season premiered September 18, with one new episode each Friday. Tuner, the Leo Woodall and Dustin Hoffman thriller, enters at #10 with three days of eligibility after its September 21 streaming premiere on Paramount+, following a limited theatrical release in May. None of the nine prior weekly charts back to July 17 included more than one Paramount+ title.
  • HBO Max’s carry-overs stay in the top half: Practical Magic holds at #3 for a second straight week, its third week on the chart, as Practical Magic 2 moves through its second week in theaters after opening at #1 domestically with $30 million. Lanterns slips from #2 to #4 in its sixth straight week and has not ranked lower than #5 since its premiere.
  • Lioness (Paramount+): Drops off the chart in the same week its third-season finale aired on September 20. That runs against the recent pattern: Furious climbed to #1 and Silo to #2 in their finale weeks. Lioness charted only occasionally this season, at #9 for August 20-26 and #10 last week.
  • Obsession (Peacock): Returns at #9 after a one-week absence. It had charted eight consecutive weeks after debuting at #1 the week it began streaming on Peacock in mid-July, making this its ninth appearance in ten weeks.

Reelgood Streaming Top 10 chart for September 17 to September 23, 2026, ranking ten movies and TV shows: Monsters on Netflix at #1, Neagley on Prime Video at #2, Practical Magic on HBO Max at #3, Lanterns on HBO Max at #4, MobLand on Paramount+ at #5, Reacher on Prime Video at #6, Mayday on Apple TV at #7, Slow Horses on Apple TV at #8, Obsession on Peacock at #9, and Tuner on Paramount+ at #10.
