Reelgood Streaming Top 10: Apex Takes #1, The Devil Wears Prada Returns Ahead of Sequel

Here’s your Reelgood Streaming Top 10 (movies & TV) snapshot for April 23 to April 29:

Apex debuts at #1 on Netflix, displacing Euphoria after one week at the top. The Charlize Theron survival thriller arrived on Netflix April 24, the same Friday HBO Max released Marty Supreme, which enters at #4. Two new films released on a single day account for two of the top five spots.

The week’s outlier is The Devil Wears Prada at #5 on Disney+. The 2006 catalog title returns to the chart as The Devil Wears Prada 2 moves through its premiere cycle: a Lincoln Center premiere on April 20, a London premiere on April 22, and a Tokyo premiere on April 24, ahead of the sequel’s May 1 theatrical release. Disney+ has not appeared in any of our last three weekly charts.

Six services split this week’s Top 10, up from five last week. Netflix places four titles, the most of any service. HBO Max stacks two in the top four. MGM+ joins the chart for the first time in our recent archive with From at #6, following Season 4’s April 19 premiere. Prime Video, Disney+, and Starz each take one spot.

Four titles carry over from last week. Euphoria falls from #1 to #3, Roommates holds at #7, Beef drops from #4 to #8, and The Housemaid falls from #5 to #10. The Pitt exits the chart after seven consecutive weekly appearances and concluding its second season. Big Mistakes, which debuted at #1 on April 9 and dropped to #9 last week, leaves the chart entirely.

This past week’s highlights:

  • Apex (Netflix) takes #1: Apex, the Charlize Theron survival thriller directed by Baltasar Kormákur, debuts at #1 following its April 24 release on Netflix. The platform reclaims the top spot one week after losing it to HBO Max‘s Euphoria. Netflix again places four titles on the chart, but anchors them this week with a #1 rather than the high-profile collapse that defined last week’s four-title showing.
  • Same-day debuts at #1 and #4: Apex and HBO Max‘s Marty Supreme, staring Timothée Chalamet, both released on Friday, April 24, and both land in the top five. Marty Supreme arrived on HBO Max 126 days after its December 2025 theatrical release, where it became A24’s highest-grossing film. Both films arrived the same day, making April 24 the chart window’s most consequential release date.
  • The Devil Wears Prada (Disney+) returns ahead of its sequel: The 2006 catalog title enters at #5 on Disney+ as The Devil Wears Prada 2 moves through its premiere cycle, with U.S. theatrical release set for May 1. Disney+ has not appeared in any of our last three weekly charts. The pattern fits a sequel-driven catalog revival: marketing for the new film pulls audiences back to the original, which sits on Disney+, and Disney+ captures the demand.
  • From (MGM+) brings a new platform onto the chart: MGM+ appears in our Top 10 for the first time in our recent archive, with From at #6. Season 4 premiered April 19 on MGM+, and the second episode aired April 26 inside this chart window. MGM+ rarely registers on a weekly chart tracking 300+ services, which makes a top-six placement a meaningful platform data point.
  • HBO Max’s third straight two-title week: HBO Max places Euphoria at #3 and Marty Supreme at #4. The platform also placed two titles in last week’s Top 10 (Euphoria at #1, The Pitt at #6) and the week of April 9 to 15. The composition keeps shifting. This week the second title is a recent theatrical film, not the weekly drama that anchored the platform’s run since early March.
  • The carry-overs and the exits: Four titles hold from last week: Euphoria (#1 to #3), Roommates (holds at #7), Beef (#4 to #8), and The Housemaid (#5 to #10). The Housemaid now appears in our Top 10 for a fourth consecutive week, the longest active Starz run in our archive. Two titles exit: The Pitt after seven consecutive weeks (Season 2’s finale aired during last week’s chart window) and Big Mistakes, which has gone from #1 to #9 to off-chart across three weeks.
