Reelgood Streaming Top 10: Furious Debuts at #1 as Last Week’s Arrivals Tumble to the Bottom of the Chart
Here’s your Reelgood Streaming Top 10 (movies & TV) snapshot for July 30–August 5, 2026:
Furious takes #1 on Hulu in its first week on the chart, ending Masters of the Universe‘s one-week run at the top. The He-Man reboot, which debuted at #1 on Prime Video last week, falls seven spots to #8 as three new titles crowd the top half of the chart.
Spider-Man: No Way Home returns at #3 on Disney+ the same week Sony and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day opened in theaters, a title arriving through the same catalog-spike pattern that pulled Troy onto the chart around The Odyssey‘s opening earlier this month. The Drama debuts at #6 on HBO Max, and The Devil Wears Prada 2 climbs from #8 to #4 in its first full week of eligibility after a single-day debut last week.
The churn cuts both ways. Obsession holds a top two spot for a third straight week even as the rest of the chart turns over almost completely, and Project Hail Mary drops off entirely after six straight weeks charting, two of them at #1.
This past week’s highlights (revised):
- Furious (Hulu): Emmy Rossum’s FBI thriller premiered its first three episodes July 27, three days ahead of this chart window, and moved straight to #1. The series is loosely based on the 1987 film Black Widow and marks Hulu’s only entry on this week’s chart.
- A familiar pattern repeats, this time with Spider-Man: Spider-Man: No Way Home reenters at #3 on Disney+ as Spider-Man: Brand New Day opened in theaters July 31. It’s the same dynamic that pulled Troy onto the chart when The Odyssey opened earlier this month and that has previously pulled The Devil Wears Prada back in around its own sequel: a new theatrical release in a franchise or thematic lineage sending viewers to the earlier entry on streaming.
- Obsession holds a top-two spot for a third straight week: #1 in its July 17 debut on Peacock, then #2 in each of the two weeks since. It’s the only title on this week’s chart to have held a top-two spot for three consecutive weeks, a run built on a $427 million worldwide box office run against a budget under $1 million.
- HBO Max stacks a debut and a hold: The Drama enters at #6 after arriving July 31, the Zendaya and Robert Pattinson A24 film that crossed $105 million worldwide against a $28 million budget. House of the Dragon holds at #5 as its penultimate episode aired August 2, with the season finale still to come.
- The Devil Wears Prada 2 (Disney+): The sequel climbs four spots to #4, a rebound consistent with a fuller week of chart eligibility rather than any shift in the title’s popularity. It debuted at #8 last week after arriving on the final day of that chart’s window.
- Last week’s arrivals crowd the bottom three: Masters of the Universe falls from #1 to #8, 72 Hours drops from #4 to #9 on Netflix, and Ride or Die slides from #3 to #10 on Prime Video. All three debuted or climbed during last week’s four-way premiere squeeze and now give up room to this week’s newer arrivals.
- Project Hail Mary exits after a six-week run: The film drops off the chart entirely following six straight weeks charting on Prime Video, including two separate stretches at #1. Its steepest single-week decline came last week, falling from #2 to #7 before exiting this week as three new titles and a returning Silo took the remaining room.
