Reelgood Streaming Top 10: Nocturne Debuts at #1 as Netflix Misses the Chart for the First Time

Here’s your Reelgood Streaming Top 10 (movies & TV) snapshot October 29 – November 4, 2026:

Nocturne debuts at #1 on Apple TV, and last week’s #1, The Invite, drops out of the Top 10 entirely. It’s Apple TV’s first #1 since Mayday held the top spot for September 10-16.

Netflix has no title in the Top 10 for the first time in the 52 weekly charts Reelgood has published.

Halloween fell inside the window, and it shows across the chart. Five titles enter and five drop off: The Invite, Tenzing, The Terminal List, Animals, and The Cycle. Seven services place a title for the sixth straight week, with Peacock, Paramount+, and Disney+ each placing two.

This past week’s highlights:

  • Two Friday premieres land in the top three: Nocturne and Dexter: Resurrection both premiered October 30, the second day of the window, and enter at #1 and #3. Both are crime dramas built around serial killers. Nocturne is a 10-episode adaptation of Lars Kepler’s novels starring Liev Schreiber, Zazie Beetz, and Stephen Graham. It opened with two episodes, and the rest arrive weekly through December 25. Dexter: Resurrection opened its second season on Paramount+ with one episode, and new ones follow every Friday.
  • Halloween lifts two catalog titles: John Carpenter’s 1978 Halloween climbs six spots on Shudder, from #10 to #4, in the week of October 31. Hocus Pocus, Disney’s 1993 film, enters at #6 on Disney+. The holiday is the likely driver for both. Halloween is now Shudder’s only title, as The Cycle exits one week after entering at #9.
  • Halloween week pulls two horror hits back up the chart: With October 31 inside the window, Obsession climbs from #8 to #2 on Peacock, its highest position since it ranked #2 for July 30-August 5. Netflix has announced the film arrives on its U.S. service November 17. Backrooms returns at #9 on HBO Max after three weeks off the chart. It debuted at #1 for September 24-30 and ranked #2 the following week. Along with Crystal Lake, Halloween, and Carrie, horror makes up half the chart for the second straight week.
  • Netflix’s streak ends at 51 weeks: Netflix had placed at least one title on every previous chart, back to November 6-12, 2025, and led with three as recently as October 8-14. Animals, its only title last week, exits after three weeks, having slid from #1 to #5 to #7.
  • Carrie now holds the longest active run: Carrie is still charting four weeks after all eight episodes arrived on Prime Video on October 7, the longest streak on the current chart. It held #2 for two weeks, then fell to #4 and now #10. Crystal Lake and VisionQuest are both in their third week. Crystal Lake slips from #2 to #5 on Peacock. VisionQuest falls from #3 to #7 on Disney+ in its first week of single-episode releases, ahead of its November 10 finale.
  • MobLand brings Paramount+ back to two titles: MobLand re-enters at #8 one week after leaving the chart, with weekly episodes still arriving ahead of its November 20 season finale. With Dexter: Resurrection at #3, Paramount+ goes from no titles last week to two.

Reelgood Streaming Top 10 chart for October 29 to November 4, 2026, ranking ten movies and TV shows: Nocturne on Apple TV at #1, Obsession on Peacock at #2, Dexter: Resurrection on Paramount+ at #3, Halloween on Shudder at #4, Crystal Lake on Peacock at #5, Hocus Pocus on Disney+ at #6, VisionQuest on Disney+ at #7, MobLand on Paramount+ at #8, Backrooms on HBO Max at #9, and Carrie on Prime Video at #10.
